Travis Tandy is the President and CEO of Tandy Consulting Inc., bringing over 30 years of experience in tax, accounting, and business advisory services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a registered tax preparer with the IRS and the California Tax Education Council (CTEC). Throughout his career, Travis has prepared tax returns for a wide range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, professional athletes, and business owners.

He leads the firm with a focus on practical guidance, strong client relationships, and long-term financial clarity for businesses and nonprofits. In addition to client-facing work, Travis performs advanced tax and accounting support services for licensed firms across California, assisting with complex engagements and specialized project work.

In addition to his professional work, Travis previously served as an emergency medical technician, an experience that helped shape his calm, solutions-oriented approach and commitment to helping others. He also runs his family’s nonprofit, the Tandy Family Charitable Foundation, as part of the firm’s broader commitment to community involvement and social responsibility.

James Timar | CPA & EA

James Timar is an independently contracted tax and accounting professional who works with Tandy Consulting Inc. to support clients with complex tax matters and financial reporting needs. He brings a strong technical background and a thoughtful approach to helping clients navigate compliance and planning considerations.

James collaborates with the Tandy Consulting team on select engagements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality outcomes. His experience allows the firm to expand its capacity while maintaining the firm’s standards for professionalism and client service.

Mary Philipps | Bookkeeper

Mary Philipps is an independent bookkeeper who works with Tandy Consulting Inc. to support clients with accurate and reliable bookkeeping services. She assists with day-to-day financial recordkeeping and helps ensure accounts are organized, up to date, and ready for reporting.

Mary works collaboratively with the Tandy Consulting team to maintain consistency, efficiency, and high standards of quality across client engagements. Her dependable approach helps clients feel confident that their financial information is being handled with care and attention.

Outside of work, Mary is a mother of two active children who are heavily involved in sports, and she enjoys balancing her professional work with a busy family schedule.

Stephanie Calabrese | Merchant Services

Stephanie Calabrese is the Merchant Services Manager and Consultant at Tandy Consulting Inc., where she supports clients with payment processing solutions and helps businesses streamline how they accept and manage payments. She works closely with clients to identify practical, efficient options that align with their operational and cash flow needs.

Through her consultative approach, Stephanie helps clients improve their payment systems while supporting the firm’s broader goal of helping businesses operate more smoothly and efficiently.

Outside of work, Stephanie is a mother of three active boys who are heavily involved in sports, and she enjoys balancing her professional work with a busy family life.

Linsay Tock | Administrative Assistant

Lindsay Tock is an administrative assistant at Tandy Consulting Inc., where she supports the team and clients by keeping daily operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly. She plays a key role in scheduling, communication, and administrative coordination, helping ensure clients receive timely and responsive support.

Known for her attention to detail and dependable approach, Lindsay helps create a positive and professional experience for both clients and team members. Her behind-the-scenes support allows the firm to stay focused on delivering high-quality tax and accounting services.

Outside of work, Lindsay is a devoted mother of three and enjoys reading, dining out, and traveling.

Drew Tandy | Marketing & Design

Drew Tandy is part of the Marketing & Design team at Tandy Consulting Inc., supporting the firm with creative design, branding, and marketing initiatives. Drew helps ensure the firm’s visual materials and messaging are consistent, professional, and aligned with the firm’s values and goals.

You may have met Drew in person at one of the firm’s community events or gatherings, where he helps represent Tandy Consulting and connect with the local community.

Outside of work, Drew is a saxophonist with ambitions of becoming a professional sax player, and he enjoys expressing his creativity through music.

Grace Tandy | Social Media Manager
